Medication management, documented as carefully as it is prescribed.
Evaluations, 25-minute med checks, therapy add-ons and in-office treatments each have their own template and time slot, and the prescription goes out from the same chart.

A PDMP check no one can prove
The medication management template asks whether the PDMP was checked for controlled prescriptions, and the answer is part of the signed note.
Treatment rooms on a whiteboard
TMS mapping, TMS sessions and esketamine visits are staff-scheduled appointment types sized for their chair time.
Telepsychiatry rules that keep changing
The DEA telemedicine flexibilities run through December 31, 2026, and your configuration carries that date as a reminder.
EPCS through a certified partner, not a workaround.
Prescriptions are written in DoseSpot's own screen inside the chart. DoseSpot holds the Surescripts and EPCS certifications; each prescriber completes identity proofing and two-factor activation with DoseSpot before signing Schedule II–V.
- Interval history, adherence and side effects on every med check
- PDMP checked: yes, not applicable, or reason documented
- Prescriptions written in DoseSpot sync back to the medication list
Spravato days planned around the REMS, not around memory.
The esketamine session type is 150 minutes, staff-booked only, and carries the REMS reminder that dosing happens in a certified setting with at least two hours of monitoring.
- Ketamine infusion visits carry their own Schedule III note
- TMS motor-threshold mapping and treatment sessions
- Pharmacogenomic result reviews by video
- Refill requests reviewed as staff-only phone visits
Configured for psychiatric prescribers
Visit lengths, prescriber roles and psychiatry templates are ready, and enrolled prescribers become e-prescribing seats.

Who certifies what
THNK Med does not claim Surescripts or EPCS certification of its own; both belong to DoseSpot. Spravato itself is only given in a setting certified in the SPRAVATO REMS, which your practice obtains.
Coming from another system?
Psychiatry practices often switch from behavioral-health or general ambulatory EHRs. Medication lists and allergies come across so the first refill request is not a scavenger hunt.

Questions
Can a psychiatrist who also does therapy keep psychotherapy notes?
Yes. Prescribers in the psychiatric role can author psychotherapy notes, which are kept apart from the chart exactly as they are for therapists.
How is each prescriber billed for e-prescribing?
Every enrolled DoseSpot prescriber counts as a seat. The count is refreshed nightly, so adding or deactivating a prescriber adjusts the next invoice.
Can therapy and medication management be one visit?
Yes. A 45-minute visit type covers medication management with psychotherapy, beside the standard 25-minute med check.
Do telehealth evaluations use the same templates?
Telehealth evaluations and med checks use the psychiatric templates you use in the office; the telehealth note adds patient location, modality and consent.
